Eight 50-bed general hospitals for the Ministry of Health, delivered as one rural programme rather than eight separate jobs.

Rural sites lengthen supply chains and thin out site support. We standardised the design and build sequence across the eight hospitals, then sequenced procurement, labour and plant so the sites did not compete for resources. Repetition became the discipline. Lessons from the earlier hospitals carried into the later ones, and the clinical specification held across all eight.
